• Ankeny Man Sentenced to Three Years' Imprisonment for Bankruptcy Fraud (kjan.com) — An Ankeny resident and former owner of Ankeny-based Legacy Siding and Windows has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for lying in a bankruptcy case after taking large deposits from customers and not finishing the work. Federal officials say he misused hundreds of thousands of dollars, accumulated nearly $1 million in debt, and then concealed income, assets, and other details during bankruptcy.
   

• Dodgers ready to host Miller Invite (messengernews.net) — Ankeny wrestling fans may want to watch how Ankeny Centennial fares at today’s Don Miller Invitational in Fort Dodge, where coaches say the Jaguars bring “some solid kids” into a strong multi-team field. The day-long tournament, featuring several ranked Fort Dodge wrestlers and other top programs, starts at 9:30 a.m. with finals expected around 2 p.m.
   

• Housing Authority talks 2025 highlights during final meeting of the year (mississippivalleypublishing.com) — Residents in Fort Madison’s Hillview housing complex may soon be able to use SEIBUS transportation to reach services anywhere in Iowa, including medical appointments in Ankeny, once a new agreement is finalized.
