Ankeny Schools to Hold Retirement Celebration Wednesday

 The Ankeny Board of Education is hosting a retirement celebration to recognize valuable members of the Ankeny School family from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday May 8 at the Parkview Performance Center, 105 NW Pleasant Street, according to a press release.

A recognition program begins at 5 p.m.

Current and former students, parents and other members of the community are encouraged to attend the open house and recognition ceremony.

Retirees who will participate in the ceremony include:

Lynn Arterburn -  Crocker Elementary Associate

Gene Larson – Northview Middle School Modern Language Teacher

Don Peterson – District Director of Support Services

Enny Riley – Ashland Ridge Food Service

Connie Swager – Southeast Elementary Associate
