Evansdale Cousins Investigation Update: Authorities Seek Information on SUV
Investigators have received witness information that white older-model full-sized SUV-type vehicle, such as a Chevy Suburban, Ford Bronco or similar vehicle, was parked near the lake along Arbutus Street on July 13.

Law enforcement is seeking the public's help in the ongoing investigation into the murders of Evansdale cousins Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 10, and Elizabeth Collins, 8.
The girls were abducted while riding their bikes near Meyers Lake in Evansdale on July 13, 2012. Their bodies were discovered in the Seven Bridges Wilderness Area in Bremer County in December.
Investigators have received witness information that white older-model full-sized SUV-type vehicle, such as a Chevy Suburban, Ford Bronco or similar vehicle, was parked near the lake along Arbutus Street on July 13. Authorities are interested in speaking with the person or people in this vehicle or anyone who knows who may be have been near Meyers lake in a similar vehicle.
Investigators stress the person or people in the vehicle is not considered a suspect or "person of interest." However, they may have information important to the investigation.

The public is urged to call with any specific information that may help investigators identify and contact the person or people in the vehicle.
A reward of over $150,000 is available through Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers and the FBI for information in the case.
