Hyperstream Places 3rd in IT Olympics

Ankeny’s Hyperstream Technology Club placed third out of 25 teams in the Cyber Defense competition at the IT Olympics in Ames April 26 and 27.  Team members include Landon Woerdeman, Nathan Rondeau, Nate Walsh, Ben Pieper, Dan Albers, Dheeraj Nalurri and Dakota Reid.  

Students set up their network and defenses on Friday and defended their network from coordinated attacks by program organizers on Saturday.  The team did an outstanding job and ultimately placed third in the competition.
