• Atlantic School Board Approves Baseball Team's Trip to Play at Busch Stadium in June (westerniowatoday.com) — Atlantic’s school board has approved sending the high school baseball team to St. Louis on June 28 to play a game at Busch Stadium, with ticket sales and sponsorships helping cover costs. The board also tightened its tardy policy, adding phone check-ins and parent conferences for chronic lateness, and approved several staffing changes and state funding applications that shape local programs.
   

• Atlantic FFA Members Attend Leadership Conference (kjan.com) — Three Atlantic FFA members recently traveled from Atlantic to Ankeny for intensive leadership conferences, including preparation for a possible run at state FFA office. The students practiced interviews, public speaking, and purpose-driven leadership skills they’ll bring back to strengthen their school and community involvement.
