The community theater was started in 1956, with the joining together of several people interested in providing live entertainment in Iowa City and for the surrounding area, she said.

She is originally from Le Mars, but not calls Iowa City home.

What do you do in your free time?

Read, sing, watch movies/TV/cable, play card and board games, attend live theater productions (if I'm not a member of the production), eat out, attend parties with friends and relatives, some travel.

People who use incorrect spelling, grammar and/or punctuation. Advertisements in all media which use incorrect spelling, grammar and/or punctuation. People who gossip with mean-spirited intentions.

Favorite Childhood Memory

Getting together with my relatives at family reunions or just dinners, etc. at my grandparents' home.
