Cyclones v. Hawkeyes Football Matchup to be a Night Game Affair this Year
A night game between rivals Iowa State and Iowa, what could possibly go wrong?
The Iowa Hawkeyes football team likely will not be playing many night games this upcoming season, but they've got one they can look forward to this fall -- a battle against their rival Iowa State Cyclones.
According to the official Iowa athletics website the game will be held on Sept. 14 at 5:00 p.m. at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames. It will be televised on the new Fox Sports 1 network that will be launching in August.
Iowa is looking to avenge itself for their loss last year in a 9-6 barnburner of a game at Kinnick Stadium that would epitomize Iowa's offensive struggles for much of the rest of the season.
