The committee will be considering projects for $30,000 that has been budgeted for public art projects in public spaces in Iowa City. The PAAC has narrowed its focus to a group of specific public areas and project types and hopes to prioritize that group according to the communityโ€™s wishes. The popular Matching Grant Funds program and a neighborhood art project in the South District Neighborhood have been allocated funding by the committee.

Finally, the PAAC is seeking concept ideas from four categories determined in the Strategic Plan: Unexpected Art; Functional Art; Ephemeral Art and Private Property Art.
