Iowa City Community School District Announces New City High Assistant Principal

Scott Jespersen will join the Iowa City High School Administrative Team this fall as the school's newest Assistant Principal.

While this is a new role for Mr. Jespersen, it is a continuation of his service to the Iowa City Community School District. Mr. Jespersen joined the district as a social studies teacher in 2004, and most recently has served as the District's K - 12 Social Studies Coordinator. City High, and the entire District, are extremely excited about Mr. Jespersen serving students in this new role.

Principal Bacon states, "Scott is student centered, highly dedicated, and able to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff."  Mr. Jesperson received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University and his Master's Degree in Education from the University of Iowa.
