Iowa City Road Work: Highway One Lane Reduction Starting Tuesday.
On Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m., weather permitting, westbound Highway 1 will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Hudson and Miller Avenues.

Another road construction project to watch out for involving a sewer pipe replacement project.
Weather permitting, beginning on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 5:30 P.M., westbound Highway 1 will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Hudson Avenue and Miller Avenue. This lane reduction is necessary to facilitate a water main tie-in for water main replacement work along Miller Avenue. It is anticipated that normal traffic will resume by 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
This project joins previously announced ventures on S. Gilbert and S. Clinton Steets. The S. Clinton project is also slated to start Tuesday. I'll keep you up to date on any other road work that comes up.
