Iowa City School District Holding Important Workshops on Future of District Facilities
Consultants BLDD architects have provided a number of scenarios for what the district should do with the more than $100 million the district will spend on facilities in the next five to ten years.

Remember that Revenue Purpose Statement vote in February where Iowa City voters approved renewing a revenue statement that will, among other things, allow the school district to borrow up to $100 million against future sales tax revenue in order to build and remodel facilities at an expedited rate?
Well here is an opportunity for you to give some input on how that money will be spent, as BLDD has presented several different plans to the facilities steering committee that will advise the board on what they believe should be done and in what order.
From the district press release with information on when the meetings will be. All will be held at Parkview Church.
