Iowa City Weather Alert: Tornado Watch for Johnson County Until 10:00 P.M. Sunday
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for several counties in Central and Eastern Iowa as strong storms are predicted to arrive in the area by the late afternoon and evening.

Iowa's record breaking streak without a tornado may come to an end tonight as forecasters are predicting strong storms could be coming into the area.
The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a tornado watch until 10:00 p.m. Sunday for much of Eastern Iowa including Johnson County.
Johnson County was added to several counties that were already in a tornado watch including:

- CHICKASAW CLAY
