More Iowa City Road Construction This Week: River, S. Summit, and N. Johnson Streets
A quick rundown of the new construction projects happening this week in Iowa City.
It's stopped raining for a bit, and that means it's time for more road construction, huzzah?!
Here's a summary of some projects happening this week.
N. Johnson Street will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from Market Street to Bloomington Street

Weather permitting, beginning on Thursday, May 23, 2013, N. Johnson Street will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from Market Street to Bloomington Street. This lane reduction is necessary to facilitate street repair work in the area. It is anticipated that N. Johnson St will reopen to normal traffic by early evening on Friday, May 24th.
S. Summit Street will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from Bowery Street to Sheridan Avenue

River Street will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from Mullin Avenue to Blackhawk Street
Beginning today, Monday, May 20, 2013, River Street will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from Mullin Avenue to Blackhawk Street. This lane reduction is necessary to facilitate a storm sewer repair in the area. It is anticipated normal traffic will resume by the end of the day on Thursday, May 23rd.
