This Week in Iowa City Weather: A Return to Rainy and Cold Weather

Expect rain of both the normal storm and thunderstorm variety this week according to online forecasts.

A strong storm is rippling its way through Northern Iowa this morning, but it looks at the moment like it will not venture far enough south to produce any significant rainfall for Iowa City this morning.

Don't expect to be so lucky for the rest of the week. Or perhaps even the rest of the day.

After a weekend featuring sunny and warm temperatures, we should see the return of the weather we've come to be used to this Spring so far: with chances for rain every day and temperatures dropping from highs in the seventies to highs in the forties.
