University of Iowa PD: UI Student Arrested After Running Naked Outside Burge Hall
The student was arrested and charged with "simulated intoxication" and assault on a peace officer after allegedly spitting on the officer following his arrest.

A University of Iowa student hailing from Keokuk was arrested and charged over the weekend after a University of Iowa police officer reported spotting him running in the nude outside Burge Residence Hall.
According to University of Iowa PD criminal complaints, Andrew Jacob Kline, 20, of Iowa City was seen by a university security guard running naked outside the University of Iowa dormitory on Saturday at 1:48 a.m.
When Kline was stopped by an officer, he allegedly had slow mumbled speech, dilated pupils, and was "saying off the wall comments that didn't make sense," according to the complaint. Kline allegedly said "(Expletive) you" to one of the arresting officers and spit on his pants and boots.

Kline's roommate reportedly told officers that he had been drinking earlier, although Kline refused a blood-alcohol test upon arrest and registered a .000 blood-alcohol content after his arrest. Kline allegedly admitted to officers that he had been "smoking marijuana and eating shrooms" earlier in the day.
Kline was charged with assault on a peace officer, a serious misdemeanor, and simulated intoxication, a simple misdemeanor.
