Watch This: 'Stand Up Tall' A Stop Motion Music Video from Iowa City School District Elementary Students
Art teacher Mark Jones is at it again with another music video created by him and his many dedicated students.
Last week I posted a documentary on Mark Jones and his students at Lemme and Lincoln Elementary School producing a short movie called "The Robot and the Butterfly." That documentary included scenes from an upcoming music video that they were working on.
Well it just so happens that the video is now out.

A tale of standing up to your fears, overcoming obstacles, and finding friends where it's least expected.
The story, animation, and lyrics were all done by 400+ K-6th grade students over the course of 8 months in their art classes.--Lyrics--
Verse 1:
There are monsters you must face, dark you can't see through
They will put you in your place, try to dim your view
Trouble starts to pile up high, and will block your way
Wanna hang your head and cry, when it all looks grey
Prechorus:
Don't give up yet, the sun's not set, you're not alone, so do not fret
And you must know, that you can glow, get up and go, let your heart show
Chorus:
We'll stand up tall
We'll stand together
We will not fall
Now and forever
Verse 2:
Lotta times those monsters are just as scared of you
Lend a friendly hand and it might just help them too
So when things seem too tough just change your point of view
Make a good day or not the choice is up to you
Rap:
I dunno who you think you're talking to, growling around try'na act so tough?
You're not about to blow this house down, we're calling bluff on your huff and puff!
Lighten up and you will surely see, friendly is the best way to be!
STAND! TALL! For others when we hear the call!
