The $580 million winning Powerball numbers have been selected and people in Iowa City and across Iowa are checking their tickets. The results have been available on the Iowa lottery website and many other places since shortly after the 10 p.m. drawing.
The winning Powerball numbers for the Nov. 28, 2012 drawing are 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and a Powerball number of 6.

In Iowa, if you take the 30-year annuity payments after 5 percent state tax and it's $406 million, bringing home $13.53 million each year, according to USA Mega. Or take a net cash payout of $265,860,000.Â
