The full-day program offers research-based updates on markets, pests, sulfur use, corn silage, and continuing education credits, including pesticide applicator training.
   

• Teams and soloists bring home trophies from state dance championships (nwestiowa.com) — Sioux Center High School’s dance team earned a fourth-place trophy in M.I.X. Class III at the Iowa State Dance Team Championships, with junior soloist Diana Trigg taking an impressive second in Class VII. The story also spotlights strong showings from neighboring northwest Iowa schools, underscoring how competitive and demanding high school and college dance has become across the region.
   

• Le Mars girls wrestling drops dual to Sioux Center (nwestiowa.com) — Sioux Center’s girls wrestling team dominated Le Mars in a recent dual, winning 60-24 with eight pins and two forfeit victories. Standout performances came from several Warriors, including returning state competitors, as Sioux Center controlled nearly every contested match on the night.
