Waukee Community School District: Celebrating National Cereal Day By Supporting The Community

Students at Eason Elementary are celebrating National Cereal Day in style. Students collected more than 1,000 boxes of cereal (1,374 pounds). The school, with help from their PTO, plans to donate every box of cereal to the Waukee Christian Services Food Pantry.

Before they sent the boxes to help the community, they put on quite the celebration. Students lined the entire school with cereal boxes and created one of the coolest domino chains you will ever see. Watch the video associated with this story for more!
