Crestview C.C. Hosted the Wichita Open for 24th Consecutive Year
With more than 50,000 spectators, the Wichita Open drives $7.2 million of economic impact, including over $300,000 for charity
WICHITA, Kan. (June 19, 2024) - Over Father’s Day weekend, the Wichita Open benefiting KU Wichita Pediatrics—the longest-running PGA Tour-sanctioned event on the Korn Ferry Tour—was contested at Crestview Country Club’s historic North Course for the 24th consecutive year.
The Wichita Open is more than just a golf tournament. It’s a community-wide event and first-class destination. Hosting more than 50,000 spectators, the tournament drives $7.2M of economic impact to the region, including over $300,000 for charity.
A total of 156 players competed for a $1M purse, as they pursued their dreams of playing on the PGA Tour. Congratulations to Taylor Dickson on winning this year’s tournament and a check for $180,000. He topped both Crestview Member Sam Stevens and William Mouw by one stroke. Past winners include Tom Lehman, David Duval, David Toms and Jason Dufner.
