Park City celebrates opening of Gilley's as economic development milestone (kwch.com) — A major new western-themed Gilley’s entertainment complex has opened in nearby Park City, bringing 300 jobs and fresh dining, gaming, and live music options that local leaders hope will draw more visitors from Wichita. Officials say the project helps replace economic losses from Greyhound Park’s closure and shows the Wichita area can compete with larger entertainment destinations while more developments, including a hotel and aquatic center, are planned.
