'Poopetrator' Who Defecated In Aisle Of Beauty Supply Store Identified

WICHITA, KS — A woman known to police as “public enemy number 2” has been identified after she defecated in the aisle of a beauty supply store, authorities said.

Law enforcement took to social media, seeking the public’s help to learn the woman’s identity after the May 10 incident at the retailer in the 2200 block of East 21st Street in Wichita.

“The defecation was significant enough that 8 wigs were destroyed as a result, and the business would like to know who the poopetrator is so they can pursue criminal charges,” police said in a Facebook post. “The incident was captured on video surveillance, but for the good of all of you we are not posting the footage of the offending fecal assault.”

In an updated Facebook post on Tuesday, police said the woman had been identified but did not disclose her name.
