Sedgwick County Health Department Coronavirus Testing Site And Vaccine Clinic Throughout November
Below is a list of clinics that are open for COVID-19 testing on Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 27.

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Due to upcoming holidays in November, the Sedgwick County Health Department (SCHD) will have a modified schedule in offering no-cost COVID-19 testing and vaccines.

The SCHD community vaccine clinic will have the following hours:
- Thursday, Nov. 11 (Veteran’s Day) – 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 24 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving Day) – CLOSED
- Friday, Nov. 26 – CLOSED
- Saturday, Nov. 27 – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
No-cost COVID-19 vaccines are offered at the community vaccine clinic (former Library) at 223 S. Main. Clients must schedule appointments for all no-cost vaccine doses.

The SCHD no-cost COVID-19 testing clinic will have the following hours:
- Thursday, Nov. 11 (Veteran’s Day) – CLOSED
- Wednesday, Nov. 24 – 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving Day) – CLOSED
- Friday, Nov. 26 – CLOSED
- Saturday, Nov. 27 – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
No-cost COVID-19 testing is offered at the SCHD Clinic, 4115 E. Harry St, Wichita. People can text “SC COVID TEST” to 316-215-8313 to place themselves in line for a COVID-19 test. A text message will notify the person of the wait time, when to come to the clinic or if the capacity for the day has been reached.

Residents can seek testing through their medical provider or other COVID-19 testing sites listed on the SCHD website that displays non-holiday hours (www.sedgwickcounty.org/covid-19/sampling-and-testing-information/).
SCHD Testing Site Procedures
- Masks are required inside the testing site for people aged 2 years and older.
- Testing is performed on people with or without symptoms.
- People who have tested positive within the last 10 days should not enter the testing site. They should isolate away from others at home.
- People who test positive should wait 90 days before testing again.
- Family members of COVID-19-positive people can be tested on day six after the family member completes their isolation period.
- People who are having trouble breathing should seek medical care at another facility.
