On January 25, 2022, Pierre Collins (34) of Wichita was found unresponsive in his cell. Detention staff, along with detention facility medical staff, immediately started chest compressions.
Â
Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Services and the Wichita Fire Department arrived on scene and took over life saving measures. At approximately 10:25 P.M., the inmate was declared deceased by Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Services.
