Recently, law enforcement agencies across the United States have been made aware of a purported TikTok post that warns of potential violence “to every school in the USA, even elementary” on December 17, 2021. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and Wichita Police Department are monitoring the situation closely. At this time there is no known credible threat to any school in the Wichita/Sedgwick County area.

As always, we ask the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to their local law enforcement.
