Wichita Memory Care Residents Make Soap for a Cause
Residents at Chisholm Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, sell soap to raise awareness of Parkinson's.

Residents at Chisholm Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, are making soaps to raise awareness of Parkinson’s Disease during the month of April. Funds will be donated directly to Club Parkinson’s in Wichita. Each $3 soap is made by a resident and features shea butter and premium grade fragrance oils.
“Many of our residents have been lifelong volunteers and fund raisers,” said Erin Cernik, life engagement director for Chisholm Place. “Having dementia doesn’t diminish their desire to help others. It’s a joy for them to create and to make a difference.”
Chisholm Place is located at 1859 N. Webb Rd., Wichita. To purchase soap or to make a donation, please contact Erin Cernik at ecernik@anthemmemorycare.com.
