  1. The final member of a Bowling Green federal drug trafficking conspiracy was sentenced to federal prison on Mar. 7. Paige Russell, 22, was sentenced to time served followed by four years of supervised release, while 31-year-old Rickshard Collins and 41-year-old Glen Budd were each sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release.   2. Western Kentucky University men's basketball head coach, Rick Stansbury, resigned after seven years in Bowling Green. In the press release, Stansbury said he needed to focus on his health and his family. (WKU Herald)
  3. On Saturday, Mar. 11, Vette City Con 2023 was a success for the sixth year in a row in Bowling Green. Josh Shortt, a cosplayer and pop-culture convention enthusiast, said these conventions are "a judgment-free zone" and "safe space for many people."
