Sales surge as $1.5B jackpot fuels big wins (whas11.com) — Bowling Green has a new big lottery winner after a $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the Crossroads IGA on Nashville Road, part of a surge in Kentucky Lottery sales driven by a $1.5 billion jackpot. Statewide, 18 large winning tickets totaling $4.3 million have been sold, and officials say the boom also boosts scholarship and grant funding for Kentucky students.

Officers urge you not to share personal or financial details, to hang up immediately, and to call your doctor back using a trusted number if you’re worried about a bill.

BroadwayWorld Classifieds 12/18/2025; Jobs In Development, Production, and More (broadwayworld.com) — A major arts opportunity is opening up in Bowling Green as Orchestra Kentucky and the Ramsey Theatre Company, both based at SKyPAC, search for a new music director starting with the 2026–27 season. The role will lead the orchestra and serve as music director for the theatre company, shaping programming and artistic direction for one of the city’s key cultural institutions.
