Here are the top three stories today in Bowling Green:

  1. On Feb. 25, surveillance footage showed a trailer filled with construction equipment being stolen from a Bowling Green business. A mid-sized SUV pulled into a parking lot, backed up to the trailer before connecting it to their vehicle and driving away. The thief and the vehicle were last seen traveling west near I-165 Russellville Road. The vehicle appears to be a light-colored potential GMC. (WBKO.com)
  2. Western Kentucky University's Language Greenhouse program hosted an international potluck on Monday to connect its students and build a stronger community. This event welcomed both U.S. and international students to share their cultures and experiences through food. The Greenhouse program invites anyone in the community to join potlucks in the future in the hopes of integrating international students into the community and helping them feel more at home. 3. Mammoth Cave National Park is officially reopening after being closed for clean-up following the storm on Mar. 3. The park's Public Information Officer Molly Schroer says crews cleaned up over 300 fallen trees and branches from roadways and cleared root loops so visitors could resume camping at the park. There was not much structural damage done to the park with only three structures damaged, but some areas of the park are still without power or internet. Although the park trails and campgrounds are now open to the public, park officials ask individuals to remain cautious as there may still be loose branches or trees that could be dangerous.
