CCHS Alumna LaDessa Lewis leads Men 2 Be in shaping the next generation (whopam.com) β A Christian County High School alumna is leading Men 2 Be, a Hopkinsville-based nonprofit that mentors local boys and young men with life skills, academics, and workforce preparation. Founder LaDessa Lewis now hopes to restore historic Attucks High School, once Hopkinsvilleβs first public school for Black students, into a youth-focused hub for recreation, careers, and safe after-school opportunities.

Hopkinsville woman charged after DUI crash with children in vehicle (christiancountynow.com) β Police say a Hopkinsville woman was arrested after allegedly driving off the road with a baby and toddler in the car late Sunday night near Hunting Creek Road and Circle Drive. Officers reported smelling alcohol, and a later breath test showed a high result, leading to DUI and criminal child abuse charges; no injuries were reported.

Hopkinsville Archers Compete at Arrowcat Holiday Classic (w/PHOTOS) (yoursportsedge.com) β Hopkinsvilleβs archery team sent ten competitors to the Trigg County Arrowcat Holiday Classic, highlighted by Destiny Powellβs personal-best 272 and 18th-place finish.
