• Alexandria police search for suspect in critical bike hit-and-run (cenlanow.com) — Alexandria police are asking for the public’s help after a bicyclist was critically injured in a hit-and-run Friday evening on MacArthur Drive. Investigators are looking for a dark gray 2013–2015 Honda Accord with major front-left damage and missing driver-side mirror and fog light assemblies, and they’re urging anyone with tips to contact APD or Crime Stoppers.

She’s calling for better safety at school events and more parental accountability, while Alexandria Police say three juveniles have been arrested on second-degree battery charges.
