The Division maintains a list of all Parish-maintained street light outages and reports to Entergy on any calls received about needed maintenance/repairs to Entergy-maintained street lights as well. While there are some exceptions, most wooden poles with street lights attached to them in Jefferson Parish belong to Entergy and most metal poles / LED lights belong to Jefferson Parish. β€œA majority of the outages on major roadways involve pole and fixture replacement; however, these repairs have been delayed due to a widespread material supply shortage,” said the Jefferson Parish Engineering Department Director Angela DeSoto. β€œAs soon as the needed materials become available, we will continue to work with our contractors on making immediate repairs.”
