JEFFERSON, LA - Starting Monday, January 24, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., the southbound left lane and the northbound left lane of Transcontinental Dr. between eastbound Veterans Blvd. and Quincy St. will be closed on a continuous basis. Motorists will merge to the available lanes.

This closure is necessary for lift station rehabilitation at a cost of $500,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Monday, March 7, 2022 at 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
