JEFFERSON, LA - Starting Friday, January 14, 2022 at 7 p.m., the southbound Causeway Boulevard ramp to the Airline Drive traffic circle, as well as the Airline Drive traffic circle exit ramp to northbound Causeway Boulevard will be closed continuously.

Motorists wishing to access Airline Drive will be detoured at West Metairie Avenue to turn on Severn Avenue and take a left toward Airline Drive. Motorists on Airline Drive wishing to take northbound Causeway Boulevard will be detoured at Severn Avenue towards West Metairie Avenue to then take a right on West Metairie Avenue toward Causeway Boulevard. One lane of Causeway Boulevard will remain closed in each direction. The existing southbound lane closure will be extended to north of West Metairie Avenue. The closure is to rehabilitate the bridge overpass, part of a $12.51 million project. Work is scheduled to be complete by March 31, 2022 at 5 a.m., weather permitting.
