AUBURN, ME — Three teenagers were arrested this weekend after a video on social media showed them assaulting two homeless people in an Auburn park, according to a report citing local police.
Police on Saturday were called to conduct a well-being check on two homeless people who were reportedly assaulted in Moulton Park, according to a report by WGME. Both people were unable to identify their assailants; however, police later learned about a video circulating on social media that showed two teenage girls attacking them.
The video shows two teenage girls hitting and kicking a homeless woman while the homeless man next to her pleaded with the girls to stop, according to a separate WGME report. The girls then kicked him in the head twice.

Police arrested a 14-year-old girl, a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy in connection with the attack, WGME reported. Both girls are charged with aggravated assault, while the boy, who recorded the attacks, is facing criminal conspiracy charges.
