• Jay to draft retroactive moratorium proposal on rents at mobile home parks (sunjournal.com) — Jay’s Select Board is preparing a moratorium on mobile home park rent increases that would take effect retroactively from Dec. 8 if voters approve it at April’s town meeting. The move follows strong pressure from residents of Pine Haven, Lambert Street, and Hidden Circle parks worried about repeated rent hikes and possible displacement. Officials are working with attorneys to clarify how any interim increases would be handled.
