22 BRAMHALL STREET

To residents and property owners: MaineHealth has submitted a site plan amendment to facilitate the construction of an additional floor at its Malone Family Tower building, located at 22 Bramhall Street and fronting on Congress Street. The amendment, if approved, would allow a 23,980 square foot expansion of the hospital's sterile processing department. The subject property is 12.5 acres in size and is within the Maine Medical Center Institutional Overlay Zone (IOZ). The Planning Board approved the original application at its December 17, 2018 meeting under application PL-000331-2018 and the development site is currently under construction.

In accordance with the Portland Land Use Ordinance, notices of receipt of a application must be sent to property owners located within 500 ft. of the subject property (or 1,000 ft. if the project is a subdivision or map amendment for a site located within an Industrial Zone). This application will be reviewed administratively by City Staff. This is the only notice you will receive.
