Maine newspaper union pro-Palestine?
Newspaper union trying to expand awkwardly put itself on the side of the anti-zionists

A Maine newspaper-union rally turned downright weird when one participant's placard called for "protecting workers from the mountains to the sea."
That phrase, of course, is the rallying cry for the anti-semitic voices calling for the destruction of Israel in favor of Palestine.
Not a good look, perhaps, if all you're really trying to do is expand union membership to include all of the papers - not just the biggest one in Portland - owned by the Maine Trust for Local News.

The union rally was supposed to call attention to the wage disparity between the Portland Press Herald, on the one hand, and the smaller weeklies on the other.
But it appears it lost its focus, going from "we want parity" to "from the mountains to the sea."
