Man Found Dead In Portland Apartment; Suspect Arrested: Police
Portland officers discovered the body of 50-year-old Salim Al Siraj during a well-being check, police said.
PORTLAND, ME — A man was found dead inside a Portland apartment Tuesday, according to police, who said a suspect has also been arrested in connection with the man's murder.
Just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 17 Carleton St. for a well-being check. When officers arrived, they discovered the body of 50-year-old Salim Al Siraj, police said. Following an investigation, authorities arrested 22-year-old Abdallah Salim Al Siraj in connection with the man's death.
Abdallah Salim Al Siraj has been charged with homicide, according to police.
