Morrison Center Welcomes Shannon Mitchell as Accounting Manager
Scarborough-based Morrison Center serves children and adults with disabilities.

SCARBOROUGH, Maine (February 19, 2025) – Morrison Center is pleased to welcome Shannon Mitchell as an Accounting Manager, effective January 28, 2025.
In this role, Mitchell will supervise and support the Scarborough-based nonprofit’s finance team and collaborate with departments across the organization. Mitchell joins Morrison Center at an exciting time for the organization, as it continues to deliver high-quality community-based support services and special education for children and adults with disabilities and expand its community reach through client and community-oriented programming in its campus greenhouses.

Mitchell brings over 15 years of experience in accounting, relationship building, and compliance in the non-profit sector. Her previous roles and responsibilities include Full Charge Bookkeeper/Manager, Company Administrator, and most recently, Senior Accountant with a large non-profit based in Rhode Island. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Nevada.
