PHA Welcomes New Director of Finance and Administration
Portland Housing Authority (PHA) is pleased to welcome Anamika "Ana" Chaudhari as the authority's new Director of Finance and Administration

PORTLAND, Maine (January 28, 2025) – Portland Housing Authority (PHA) is pleased to welcome Anamika “Ana” Chaudhari as the authority’s new Director of Finance and Administration. In this role, Ana will oversee the operations of PHA’s Finance Department and direct the maintenance of its central accounting system, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
Ana brings extensive experience in financial operations and strategic planning. Most recently, she served as Controller for Albany International’s advanced materials division. Her previous roles include Consolidation and Financial Reporting Manager at Avangrid and senior leadership positions at global firms such as AIG, Royal Philips, and GE Capital, where she excelled in financial reporting, enterprise transformations, and internal audits.
“Managing the financial operations of an organization like PHA requires not just technical expertise but also a clear understanding of the vital role housing plays in building stable and thriving communities,” said PHA Executive Director Brian Frost. “Ana’s extensive background in financial leadership will ensure that PHA remains financially strong and well-equipped to serve our residents effectively.”

Ana earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Delhi University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds additional certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Chartered Accountant.
