Spinnaker Trust Welcomes Mariah Mitchell

PORTLAND, Maine (May 8, 2025) – Spinnaker Trust is pleased to welcome Mariah Mitchell, Esq., as Vice President, Associate Chief Trust Officer.

Mariah brings a strong foundation in estate planning and trust administration to this senior leadership role. She earned her B.A. from Colby College and her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. Mariah joins Spinnaker Trust from H.M. Payson & Co., where she served as a Trust Officer. Prior to that, she practiced as an attorney with Eaton Peabody Attorneys at Law.

At Spinnaker, Mariah will work closely with the Chief Trust Officer to assess risk and oversee the administration of trusts for which the firm serves as trustee or trustee’s agent. In Mariah’s role, she will manage select client relationships, collaborate across departments—including the firm’s Client Advisors, Fiduciary Services, and Tax Group—and serve on Spinnaker’s Trust Administrative and Investment Committees.

Mariah is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council and the Maine State Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates Section, and currently serves on the board of Girls on the Run Maine.
