APG Weapons Testing May Be Heard Week Of March 13
Weapons testing will be done at Aberdeen Proving Ground Monday through Friday and may be heard by neighbors, the facility warned.

ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD β The Aberdeen Proving Ground will hold military weapons testing Monday through Friday from about 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. the week of March 13. Noise could be heard in areas off the installation during the testing period, authorities said in a news release.
According to APG leadership, the testing is not hazardous to residents in surrounding communities.

"Organizations on APG take every measure to mitigate instances when training or testing becomes problematic to residents off the installation. To ensure we minimize the impact to our neighbors, we monitor the weather and the noise readings continuously throughout each day. APG leadership takes noise complaints very seriously and wants to provide as much transparency as possible to the surrounding communities without compromising the security of the missions conducted here," APG said in a notice.
