Lacrosse: Hereford Knocks Out Aberdeen Girls

The Aberdeen girls and boys lacrosse teams have wrapped up their seasons.

Hereford scored early and often, eliminating the girls lacrosse team from the Class 3A/2A region tournament with a 21-1 winΒ Tuesday in northern Baltimore County.

The Bulls had goals from 13 players and built a 14-1 halftime lead to deflate the Eagles playoff run.

Aberdeen's lone goal was scored by Lucy Daghir.

Megan Schoenberger made two saves in the Aberdeen goal. Djene Diane made four saves.

Monday's game marked the final high school lacrosse game for seven Eagles seniors, including Diane, Daghir, Alexandra Will Cole, Juliana Wernig, Kiarra Edwards, Sally Ann Kanu and Tameera Turner.

C. Milton Wright Eliminates Eagles Boys

The Aberdeen boys were eliminated Friday in an 18-3 loss at C. Milton Wright.

Final stats for the Eagles were not immediately available.
