Auto Fire Closed Aldino Stepney Road
Aldino Stepney Road was closed Monday afternoon.

Aldino Stepney Road was closed due to "an electric power issue," Harford County officials said Monday afternoon.
A notice of investigation from the Maryland State Fire Marshal's office indicated a fire began under the front of a special edition 2003 Ford Explorer, causing approximately $10,000. No cause of the fire was immediately determined.
Ten members of the Aberdeen Fire Department responded to the blaze and had it extinguished in 20 minutes.

In a pre-recorded call at 2:05 p.m., Emergency Manager Rick Ayers said the road would be closed for approximately 8 to 10 hours, based upon projections by a BGE crew on the scene.
“Please avoid this area if possible, or take an alternate route,” Ayers said on the automated call.
