7-Year-Old Boy Killed in Annapolis Fourth of July Parade
A boy was killed after he fell while waiting to participate in Thursday's parade, police said.

A seven-year-old boy was fatally injured after falling from a vehicle during the annual Fourth of July parade down Main Street in Annapolis Thursday, police said.
Annapolis police said the boy was in a vehicle queuing up to enter the parade route on Amos Garrett Boulevard just after 7 p.m. when he fell out of the vehicle. The boy was taken to the hospital and later died of his injuries, according to a police release.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and police have not released information on the vehicle or the identity of the boy.
WBAL reported the boy was sitting on a single-axel trailer and fell off before he was struck by the trailer.
