Annapolis Artist Competes in National iHeartRadio Music Competition
Local artist Hayley Nicole climbs the ranks in the national Next Music Star competition, hosted by iHeartRadio and 102.7 KIIS FM.
Local singer-songwriter Hayley Belcher, who performs under the name Hayley Nicole, is putting Annapolis on the map as she competes in the Next Music Star contest hosted by iHeartRadio and 102.7 KIIS FM. The grand prize? A chance to perform live at Wango Tango, one of iHeartRadio’s biggest music festivals, on May 10th in Los Angeles, along with a $10,000 cash prize.
Currently holding 4th place in the Top 10 round, Hayley is relying on daily public voting to help push her through a series of competitive elimination stages.
Hayley, known for her heartfelt lyrics and acoustic-pop style, has been active in the local music scene since 2022 and hopes this opportunity will open doors for her career while also representing her community.

The competition launched in late March and will continue until May 3rd, with rounds narrowing the field week by week. Continued daily support is essential, as vote totals are cumulative between rounds, helping competitors maintain momentum as the competition intensifies.
