Annapolis Police: Man Rummaged Through 5 Unlocked Vehicles

Lamont Crowner was arrested Friday.

An Annapolis man was arrested Friday and charged in connection to thefts from vehicles earlier this month.

Police say Lamont Crowner, 21, entered five unlocked vehicles in the 100 block of Quiet Waters Place overnight between July 14 and 15 and took money. He is charged with six counts of being rogue and vagabond and one count of theft.

Crowner, of the 1900 block of East Copeland Street, remains held on $10,000 bail, according to online court records.

The break-ins came during a busy stretch for Annapolis police, with reports of numerous other thefts and burglaries in the area.
