To ensure snow plowing is effective, the city encourages residents to use the free service and move their vehicles inside the Hillman garage.

Residents are instructed to take a ticket upon garage entry, and will receive a free parking voucher after providing proof of Annapolis residency to the garage office.

Weather conditions will delay Tuesday’s refuse and recycling collection until Wednesday, according to the city Department of Public Works.

Wednesday’s collection of yard, bulk waste and holiday trees is similarly affected; All collection appointments scheduled for Jan. 7 will occur on Jan. 14. Normal collection services will resume on Thursday, Jan. 8.
