Police: Burglary Suspect Leaves Empty Beer, Box of Cigs at Scene
A suspect forced entry in the rear of a home but took nothing, police said.

The Annapolis Police Department reported two separate incidents over the weekend—a burglary and a bicycle theft.
Police said someone appears to have broken into a home in the 900 block of Smithville Street between Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 3:30 p.m. by forcing open the rear door. Inside, a "Natty Daddy" beer can and an empty cigarette packet were left by the suspect. A neighbor allegedly saw someone leaving. Criminal charges for burglary and destruction of property are pending, according to a police release.
In an unrelated incident, a bicycle was stolen Friday between 4 and 4:30 p.m. from Coybay Drive, police said. An unknown suspect removed an unsecured red and white boy's Trek MT20 bicycle from the nearby playground, according to a police release.
